Purpose built to withstand the heat, seersucker fabric is the original performance fiber. A testament to its provenance in relentlessly hot climates, the term is an East Indian corruption of the Persian words for milk (šir) and sugar (šakar). The alternating textures of the fabric create channels that divide and dissipate heat from the sun, while the natural wrinkles of the cotton and depths of the fibers create space between the skin and the material, allowing air to circulate, keeping the wearer cool.

This bold take on the seersucker jacket is bound to catch some eyes, whether on Derby Day or on the summer social circuit.
